WHO: Enhancing Global Discussions on Sexual and Reproductive Health

Creative direction and development of a digital Annual Report representing the work of the Human Reproductive Programme over the course of 2023.

THE CHALLENGE
Create a microsite that reflects HRP's achievements in 2023 in an engaging way that encourages people to continue learning about sexual and reproductive health without being too explicit.

THE OUTCOME
A unique website that provides an elegant look for HRP through the use of illustrations and animations. We highlighted the important work HRP is doing and has done over the past year on this site. It is beautiful in its simplicity- allowing the artwork to shine and highlighting the work the organisation is doing through the use of key videos and statistics.

FHRP (the UNDP/UNFPA/UNICEF/WHO/World Bank Special Programme of Research, Development and Research Training in Human Reproduction) is the main instrument within the United Nations system for research in human reproduction. It brings together policy-makers, scientists, health care providers, clinicians, consumers, and community representatives to identify and address research priorities to improve sexual and reproductive health. 

Since 1972, HRP has been at the forefront of research for sexual and reproductive health and rights. The organisation works on fundamental health and human rights issues that impact us all but are much too often stigmatised or swept aside.

We were honoured to conceptualise and design a website in partnership with OurShack and Marble IT. Our team provided creative direction to the project, focused particularly on the initial conceptualisation of the site and the animations that brought it to life. Through a simple and elegant design, we wanted to showcase the work that HRP does in a way that empowers people to talk about sexual health and reproduction and engage with the complexities of the topic.
