UNICEF Burundi: Children need champions
Designing a series of bilingual promotional materials to encourage the development partners and public to get involved, speak out, volunteer, or become a donor and give every child a fair chance to succeed.

Raise the visibility of UNICEF‘s programmatic work in the country among the development partners, donors, and the public.
THE OUTCOME
Layout and design of a series of policy briefs and community approaches in French and English, with strategic data visualization and custom-made illustrations.

For over 60 years, UNICEF has been a key player in protecting children's rights in Burundi. The agency works tirelessly to reach the most vulnerable of children. Their work focuses on child survival to ensure that no child is left behind. They ensure that every child has the best start in life in terms of health, education, and positive development.
In Burundi, UNICEF has a very diverse portfolio of responsibilities, but all with the same objective: to assist the Government and other stakeholders to fulfill children’s economic, social, cultural, political, and civil rights. The UNICEF country programme in Burundi aims to improve the lives of children and women in the following key areas:
Child and maternal health
Nutrition
Education
Child protection
Water, sanitation, and hygiene
Social policy and advocacy
Adolescent empowerment and community resilience
Humanitarian response
At Future By Design, we were proud to support UNICEF by designing a series of materials that provided reliable information about the agency‘s work in the eight key areas, increasing awareness and encouraging support for the agency‘s vital work. Promotional materials were developed in English and French.
