The Challenge

Conceptualise the report design using graphic elements and photography to create a document that is engaging, accessible and highlights the people behind the numbers.

The Solution

Developed the layout and design to strategically support the overall report findings and considerations as well as create an executive summary that highlights key data and outcomes.

The Results

Child marriage, a widespread problem in many countries in East and Southern Africa, is a serious violation of girls’ human rights. It denies their right to health care, education, to live in security and to choose when and whom they marry. Child marriage has dire consequences for girls. By creating a key visual identity for the 58-page report and synthesizing the information into digestible pieces through visuals, colour and graphics, we supported UNFPA ESARO in disseminating their key findings.

… learning from good practices and making bold and ambitious investments in the girl child is thus imperative to create a world in which girls and young women can take charge of their own lives, make their voices heard, be the agents of change and lead the way to a more gender-equal world.
